Aeroflot Launches A319 'Mendeleev'
Aeroflot has received its 15th A319. The aircraft fleet of Aeroflot currently includes 56 A319/320/321 types. The new aircraft has been given the name 'D.Mendeleev'. This is the last A319 that was delivered under the operational lease contract, which was signed in 2008. BOC Aviation is the lessor. All jets were delivered directly from the plant. The aircraft have two class configurations designed for 116 people (A319), 140 people (A320) and 170 people (A321). Aeroflot deploys the airplanes on European routes.
