Hello, In the past i used may airband radio plus a program that you can download from the web, ACARSD to recevide acars messages. In Doha i received around 2000 messages a day. In Riga i'm using it, with the frequencie 131.725mhz (primary channel for europe) but i don't receive any message. Does somebody know why? Best Regards Angelo Rosa Angelo Rosa

Not sure if anyone is doing it here (though I might not know :) ) but you can ask for help in the flightradar24.com forum, they have a separate section of the forum devoted to ACARS stuff, maybe someone there can help you in this.

atcerējos šo tematu un nolēmu pats pamēģināt, talkā tika ņemta antena no iepriekšējā radioamatierisma eksperimenta - aviofoto.lv/?c=sk_temu&t=878 vispār smuki nāk vaļā, divas dienas paspēlējoties jau šis tas interesants ir ienācies :D

Hi Angelo , yes that's the freq i'm using. Can you hear the acars tone in the scanner at all? I am using an external antenna for this, I haven't tried with "rubber duck" antenna supplied with the scanner, maybe that's the problem for you. Please let me know if you hear the tones so we can troubleshoot it from there..

Hi Martins, Yes, my problem is for sure the antenna as i'm using the one from the scanner :) Cheers
