On June 14, the Lithuanian Air Force received a request from the National Transplantation Office to assist in the urgent transportation of a donor organ. Around 1 p.m. a group of doctors with a donor organ arrived at the Santaros clinics on an MI-8 helicopter of the Lithuanian Air Force. After the successful completion of the mission, the military helicopter returned to the deployment post in Kaunas, where it continues to be on duty.
