At around 08:45, two Romanian F-16 Fighting Falcons were scrambled on a Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) mission. Later, they returned to escort the C-27J Spartan before performing a spectacular side-by-side low pass. The pair then broke formation and carried out individual approaches as SA01 and SA02. With that, BAP71 (Baltic Air Policing Rotation 71) officially came to a close.
