Angelo Rosa, here's a little tip how to spot one of these - check Dinamo Riga ice hockey game schedule - http://www.dinamoriga.eu/en/schedules/listall/next
If you see a home game coming up (like tomorrow against Nizhnekamsk or wednesday against Jekaterinburg), there's a good chance they will arrive in one of these (It's always something exotic anyway, whether it's yak-42, perhaps a Tupolev or a Boeing with russian reg.). Just keep checking airport schedule at http://riga-airport.com/en/main/flights/today-arrives-departs
They usually show up in this list as a flight from some city in Russia, Belarus or Kazakhstan. Well at least they did in previous season. I'm not sure about flight numbers but they certainly do not begin with B, BT, UT and SU - these are regular flights for ordinary pax. They usually arrive in game day, 5-10 hours before game. Plane is parked usually (but not always) north from terminal (so called biz-jet corner) and leaves (usually) couple hours after the final whistle at arena is blown. On rear occasions they stay until morning-midday next day. Have fun! |

| well, ZOSiS, You probably know better, it just so happens that I always spot their arrival in a game day. As far as checking arrivals list at airport home page - it really looks like Nizhnekamsk has arrived yesterday and Jekaterinburg arrives today in late evening. Anyone can confirm this? |

| HK "Neftekhimik" arrived 20.09 at 01:05 at night (local time) as PLS9922 on a Yak-42 RA-42365. The game was started 21.09 at 19:30. HK "Avtomobilist" arrived 22.09 at 01:07 at night (local time) as RLU9651 on a CRJ VQ-BFA. Aircraft then was dispatched back ferry to DME after refuelling. The game will start 23.09 at 19:30 again. Both aircraft came with a delay of couple of hours. |

| As far as I know the are some bizzjets departing at saturday: VP-BGM (6:00), ES-PHR (9:30), YL-ABA (14:20, arriving sunday at 16:10), OE-INJ (21:00). Arrivals include LZ-YUN (11:30, departing sunday at 11:00) and rotation flight DNE601/602 LZ-DIN (12:30-14:00). Sunday is much more interesting because of two Yak-42 aircraft in action: SKA hockey team departing on RA-42368 as CGI9670 at 9:00, then ferry flight arrives at 11:00 as GZP6945 to take our Dinamo Riga to Khanty-Mansiysk (departing at 13:00 as GZP6946). |
